Stak addresses this demand by providing a curated network of verified industry experts, enabling advisors to access top-tier talent beyond their immediate network. Through rigorous vetting and anonymity protocols, Stak ensures fairness and confidentiality while fostering a meritocratic environment where peer recognition rewards excellence.
Stak’s ultimate goal is to become a trusted symbol of quality assurance, empowering professionals to deliver exceptional service to their ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Investing in design early
The gravity and scale of Stak’s ambition was not lost on its founders. They decided from the start that they would need to invest in a brand to simplify a complex industry and proposition but also recognised that it would need to transition seamlessly into a positive product experience for a discerning audience.
That’s where we stepped in. Armed with a brand and a product vision, Stak engaged us very early on.

The outsourced in-house team
We embedded ourselves so deeply into Stak’s business that they still consider us part of the team. Working alongside Jake Willis, co-founder and product owner, “we invested upfront in de-mystifying how the industry operates to peel away the layers of complexity to truly understand the foundational elements that Stak would need to build their product on.”
Working in monthly design sprints, we created a Figma design system and component library to rapidly hand off UX and UI designs to Stak’s in-house development team across user journeys for Stak’s professional, curator, associate and organisation users.

A badge of honour
Professionals are ranked on the basis of talent, effort, and achievement. For a professional advisor, a high ranking, therefore, leads to high referral levels. Working with Stak we helped develop their Stak ranking to encourage users to collect badges of honour to promote good community behaviour.
